YSYRFT? (You sure you're ready for this?)

Welcome to B*tches in the Burbs. We're not sure how you got here, but we're glad you did. We absolutely can't wait to get started, but we need to warn everyone that this blog may be offensive to you if you are not truly a b*tchy girl. B*tchy girls can be found everywhere: young, old, any race, size, religion, etc. They can be married, divorced, single, engaged, moms, college students...the list goes on and on.
If the mere mention of mom jeans, candle parties, scrapbooking, or bunco excites you, trust us, this is DEFINITLEY NOT the site for you. STOP READING now and go back to your arts n crafts.
We have many friends who enjoy these different activities, and we're not looking to make mortal enemies, although we're pretty sure we will piss people off. To that we say TOO DAMN BAD. For those of you who continue to read despite the warning and are going to be offended, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, get off now. We don't want to hear, nor do we care about your bitchy comments or complaints about what we say. We're just trying to have a little fun!
So.............
Do you think you're a b*tchy girl? Scroll down to the bottom of the page and take the quiz and see!

What Don't You Understand?

Main Entry:
blog
Part of Speech:
n
Definition:
an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page;
Example:
Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the personality of the author.

Some of you don't like us...point taken. You think we're pompous, judgmental, narrow-minded, & superficial...point taken as well.  You believe that our posts are insignificant, trivial, and lack any real substance.

Fortunately for you, nobody is holding you at gun point, forcing you to read any of our material.  Hide us on your facebook page, or just defriend us. The cold hard truth is that you just don't like us.  No hard feelings, we probably don't like you either.
On the other hand...the amount of positive comments, praise, and admiration that we have received WORLDWIDE has been astonishing!  What started out as a joke between friends has turned into something so much bigger than anything we could have ever dreamed of.  Although one may believe that we attract only a small homogeneous population, our audience is diverse, ranging anywhere from 19 year old male college students to 65 year old grandmothers. Here are a few amazing comments that we've received just this week:
...Anyway, I really ADMIRE YOU for putting yourself out there - being totally honest (brutally at times) and writing it well! You rock. :)...
...I found your blog and just went there. You will always be such a fun, fun girl! Love the Barbies that appear and re-appear. The whole thing screams "bright spirit" to me, and I love it!...
...Now she writes as part of a team of women writing a fairly vulgar but extremely funny blog, which by the way, seems to be a fairly accurate representation of how life in the suburbs can be at times. Check out the link, I'm sure you'll enjoy too.
Our SOLE purpose in beginning this blog was not to piss people off.  We wanted to have some fun, and believe us, we are.  Some nights we're up until 3:00 A.M. talking on the phone, writing, and cracking up. If the only thing that we ever gain from this experience is fun, laughter, and the knowledge that there are many, many people  who we make smile each day, that will be just fine with us.
If you don't find us worthy of your precious time or sense of humor either stop reading the d*mn thing already, or reach up real high and grab the pole outta your *ss and try reading it again. Who knows, you just might find something funny.
Our loyal b*tches will be thrilled to know that we're in the process of working with someone to create a way better site!  Our haters will be ecstatic to know our posts won't be showing up on our personal facebook pages anymore so GFY and have a nice day.  More information on our new site will follow, but for now, keep on laughing with us right here, b*tches!  You know who you are and we LOOOOVE you!
